Training Institute Transformation

ti_facultyThe Training Institute of Geneva Centre for Autism was created in 1991 to address the need for wider public awareness and education on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). For twenty-four years the Training Institute has been a world leader in providing cutting edge training and education to professionals and families supporting individuals with an ASD.  The Training Institute has prided itself on the ability to adapt and evolve as mandated by research and changes in the field.

Beginning January 2013, the Training Institute has transformed to become the Research, Education and Training Institute.  This transformation is in response to the demand for research to support new and emerging treatment and interventions as well as the evaluation of current interventions and practices for individuals with an ASD.  An advisory panel comprised of leading experts in the field from across Canada will help inform and guide the development of educational curriculum.  The multi-disciplinary approach to identifying and developing training materials will ensure that professionals will continue to receive the most relevant and effective training available.  If you would like more information on becoming and advisory member of the expert panel please contact the This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
