While we practice social distancing, it is important that we practice ways to stay connected with one another. PEERS® online, is a social skills group meant for socially motivated young adults to learn the skills necessary to make and keep meaningful friendships while staying socially engaged and connected to their peers. In this program, young adults will discuss, problem solve and practice different social interactions to build their confidence in navigating the social world.
Topics explored: Conversational skills, choosing appropriate friends, use of humor, planning a get together, using good sportsmanship, handling peer rejection and gossip, dating, dating do’s and don’ts.
