The Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) has granted Geneva Centre for Autism limited use funding to cover the registration price for our Sonderly™  Autism Intervener Course for eligible organizations until March 2021.

This comprehensive training course has been very popular for years, and the all-new online version will help people who are unfamiliar with autism have more successful interactions with the ASD community.

Non-autism organizations/businesses in Ontario that service the ASD community are eligible to receive a limited number of course registrations to train their teams based on meeting at least ONE of the following criteria:

Criteria 1
Frequent interactions with the ASD Community

Your regular business does not include professional ASD specific programs and services, but due to the nature of your business, your employees have frequent interactions with the ASD population.
E.g. Parks/Recreational programs, Attractions, Transportation, Hospitality etc.

Criteria 2
Responsibility for community safety

The role of your organization/business is to maintain community safety, which may include interacting with individuals with ASD.
E.g. Police, Fire, Paramedics, Shelters, Mall security, Law firms etc.

Criteria 3
Advances independence of adults with ASD by providing employment or higher-education opportunities

Your business is open to hiring and/or provides a recognized college/university education to adults with ASD.

Criteria 4
Limited access to other resources

Your organization/business operates in a rural, remote or culturally isolated community, with limited access to other ASD services or resources.
E.g. Indigenous communities, Near North and Far North communities, Francophone communities etc.
