We typically seek college or university educated candidates in fields related to available positions. For clinical positions, a background in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences and ECE is preferred. Previous experience in the field of autism is a definite asset.

We offer a professional development plan that encompasses mandatory and voluntary training. Staff are also able to take advantage of courses offered through our Training Institute.

Yes, due to the nature of our business, we require all successful candidates to have a pre-employment medical and vulnerable sector police check completed upon hire.

We always strive to promote from within. Whether it is from current staff or our pool of volunteers, we always look to fill openings with internal candidates first.

We have formed various committees dedicated to promoting staff development, recognition and rewards. Our committees meet frequently to develop and maintain staff incentive programs that cultivate a fun, positive and motivated environment.
