Pamela McGugan is an Education Officer with the Leadership Development Branch, Ontario Ministry of Education. Prior to that, she was a principal with the Peel District School Board where she worked with students with special education needs. Pam was instrumental in working with architects to design a School which twinned two schools under one roof in a ‘school within a school concept’. This ‘state of the art’ school was designed to provide maximum program opportunities for students with special education needs in an inclusive environment.
Pam was writing team leader for the revision of Personal Life Management, a Peel District School Board resource guide for the School to Work /Community Transition Program, a resource document for students with developmental disabilities that reflects the most current practices and program suggestions. She was also a contributor to a book on inclusive education, Exploring Inclusive Educational Practices Through Professional Inquiry, Sense Publishers, 2011.
