Melissa Legree

Melissa LegreeMelissa has recently joined the Geneva Centre for Autism team as the Manager of Program Evaluation/Research and Quality Assurance.  She is a graduate of the Masters of Applied Disability Studies program at Brock University and a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with extensive experience working in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis helping families of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Previously she worked at Lake Ridge Community Support Services as a Behaviour Analyst Supervisor of a Pilot ABA Classroom for high school students with Asperger’s Syndrome at the Durham District School Board.

 

Dedicated to improving services for the ASD population and their families, Melissa has conducted program evaluation and meta-analysis research on the topics of social skills, coping skills, and generalization.  Her current research interests include social thinking, self-advocacy, collaborative problem solving and dual diagnosis.
