This full day workshop will examine challenging behaviour as it relates to Autism Spectrum Disorders. Discussion will include possible causes and functions of behaviour, strategies for assessing challenging behaviour, as well as the design and implementation of a Positive Behaviour Support Plan. Participants will have the opportunity to complete portions of a functional behaviour assessment and Positive Behaviour Support Plan. Video clips and case studies will be used to enhance learning.
