This full day workshop is designed to introduce participants to the purpose of a Functional Behaviour Assessment in the development of an instructional program for students with ASD.  Data collection methods, direct and indirect observation, functions of behaviour, functionally equivalent replacement behaviour, teaching replacement skills, proactive and reactive strategies as well as program monitoring and evaluation will be the focus of this workshop.  To enable hands-on practice, participants will have the opportunity to work through a case study
