Adults with an ASD require direct teaching of self- advocacy skills. This workshop will examine the meaning of self advocacy and provide specific strategies as to how to teach this essential skill. Participants will be involved in discussions and hands on activities to facilitate understanding of what is involved in learning to speak for oneself.
