GCA Consultation Services

Geneva Centre for Autism Consultation Services is a not-for-profit program within Geneva Centre for Autism (GCA). This program was developed to provide services to families and individuals who are not eligible for clinical services or as an option to waiting for government funded services to become available. Although this is a fee-for-service program, the money received for services is channeled back into the program to assist with cost recovery for professional services purchased by the program and to develop resources for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.

Consultation Services for Professionals

Working with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder requires a specific set of skills and knowledge. What may work for one person may not necessarily work for the other, as each individual with an ASD is unique.

To be successful, professionals need to be equipped with strong knowledge and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders and have sufficient training on different strategies and innovative tools used to support individuals with an ASD.

Raising a child with ASD presents a unique experience that requires specialized knowledge and training to ensure you are prepared for the many variables in their lives.

Our goal at the Geneva Centre for Autism Training Institute is to provide a variety of training opportunities to assist parents/caregivers with a solid knowledge and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Consultation Services for Person with ASD

Living with ASD presents a unique experience that sometimes requires assistance or understanding to better manage your situation. Understanding one’s diagnosis and being able to access supports and tools for independence, are critical for persons with an ASD to live up to their potential.

The Geneva Centre for Autism Training Institute aims to provide personalized services to assist individuals in translating their abilities into meaningful work experiences, coping strategies, and understanding their unique challenges.
