 Description:
This presentation will provide an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) with a primary focus on Autism. Asperger Syndrome and Pervasive Development Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) will also be reviewed during this session. Learn how a diagnosis is made, how to recognize the characteristics of autism and the common strengths and challenges of individuals with an ASD. Current trends on autism research will be shared.
