Some individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder can deal with crisis on a daily basis, others have less frequent occurrences of crisis. It is important to understand the best techniques for identification and management of crisis, and this session aims to give you the tools necessary to do that.
Learning Objectives:
- Expanding the ability to identify the components of a crisis
- Learning about proactive preventative interventions to avert a crisis situation
- Gaining the knowledge of interventions to manage a crisis situation
- Understand post intervention strategies after a crisis
A key component to Crisis Management is being prepared for the occasions in which they occur and understanding how to best react when presented with these occurrences.
