Description: This is a four-part series This workshop explores the physical and physiological stages of social sexual development while highlighting the underlying characteristics of ASDs and how these characteristics may impact on an individual’s emotions, behaviours and their understanding of social/sexual boundaries.
Participants will be introduced to the CIRCLES® Program: Intimacy and Relationships which utilizes a visual tool to teach individuals the varying levels of closeness that exists with people in their lives and how safe relationships are built over time through different levels of talk, touch and trust.
Participants will also be provided with opportunities to develop critical thinking and observation skills by examining a variety of scenarios. Small group discussions will explore the skills needed to manage and navigate relationships and social boundaries.
March 1, 8, 22 (7:00 pm-9:00 pm) and March 23 (9:00 am-3:30pm)
