Description: This workshop is limited to 20 participants
This workshop will focus on methods of preventing the need for physical intervention and provide training in safe non-violent intervention techniques. The physical intervention techniques taught are designed to provide safe therapeutic control of acting-out behaviour. Discussion will highlight the experiences of those with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
