Time: 1:30pm – 3:00pm
Session: Session #22
Outline of Presentation:
It can be noisy out there in the land of autism advocacy! But what do parents of children with ASD really want for their children and their families? How does “the evidence” inform their choices and perspectives? This session will examine key messages from several large parent surveys and smaller studies on what matters to Ontario parents about their children’s education, social skill development, what impacts their own stress and their thoughts about what is needed for their children across the lifespan.
