You are the central person in deciding who is invited to come to your planning meeting, and what the plan will look like.

People will listen to you and respect your hopes and dreams – in whatever way you decide to express them.

The people you invite will be focusing on your strengths, interests and things you really care about. This might then lead to new experiences and opportunities that you have not had a chance to try or maybe that you had not even thought of.

You will direct the path that you want to follow, with help from others who you have invited to the meeting.

The plan can help you to find new ways to contribute to your family or community in a way that gives more meaning to your life.

You might see things or the people in your life in a new way when you have the chance to do the plan together.

The plan may help you get to achieve some of your dreams and wishes, even ones that you have never told your friends and family. The planning meeting is your chance to talk about these things and have people in your life not only listen, but suggest ways they can help you achieve these things.
