Welcome to the Bridging Abilities

Services for Adults The Bridging Abilities Program supports adults with an ASD to further develop the relevant skills that will enable them to participate in all aspects of their communities.  Based on the individual’s objectives, this program supports a broad range of skill building goals including:

  • Social skills
  • Community safety skills
  • Life skills
  • Self-management skills
  • Academic skills
  • Vocational skills
  • Leisure skills

The Bridging Abilities offers weekly group and individuzlized programming. The members participate in a broad range of structured activities which include a combination of community-based outings and on-site activities.

Questions and answers

In order to be eligible for these services, candidates must:

  • Complete an eligibility assessment
  • Be between the ages of 18-30 years old at the time of admission into the program
  • Live in Toronto
  • Have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder

Anyone who would like more information or to apply for the Bridging Abilities Program can contact a member of the Adult Service team at (416) 322 -7877. A member of the Adult team will help to determine whether or not this service is the right fit for you. In addition, we will try to link you with alternative services in Toronto as appropriate.
