Toileting Strategies - Part 1

This 2 part workshop focuses on the relationship between Autism Spectrum Disorders and difficulties
with eating and feeding. Parents will be provided with strategies to address common eating challenges
such as food selectivity and refusal as well as problem behaviour during meal times.
Do you want to know how to succeed at toilet training your child? This 2 part workshop explores the challenges of toilet training children with ASD. Strategies based on Applied Behaviour Analysis, are presented to help improve your child's toileting skills. These strategies include modeling, prompting, shaping, reinforcements, visual cues, and scripting. Parents/ caregivers also have the opportunity to discuss and troubleshoot specific toileting difficulties.
