Bridges, through a variety of out-of-home programs, provides temporary relief to parents and guardians from the physical and emotional demands involved in caring for a family member with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Respite gives families time to rest, relax and rejuvenate. Along with providing families with relief, respite participants have the opportunity to develop social interaction and leisure skills within a group.
