How are "Stepping Stones" Transition Services Staffed?
The program is comprised of the Supervisor of Stepping Stones, Child and Family Consultants, and a team of Skill-Building Facilitators. The consultants have ample experience in developing clinical and recreational programs for children with Autism, with backgrounds in psychology, group facilitation, respite programming and behavioural intervention. Our group facilitators are college and university educated with backgrounds in behavioural intervention, recreation, psychology, teaching, and group facilitation. In addition, the program receives direct consultation by a Speech Language Pathologist, and support by the Behaviour / Communication team, social work team, and Occupational Therapist at Geneva Centre for Autism, along with ample training and supervision.
