Toronto Partnership for Autism Services
Instructor Therapist (IBI)
Geneva Centre for Autism is a partner in the Toronto Partnership for Autism Service. Reporting to the Supervisor/Senior Therapist, the Instructor Therapist works directly with children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families in the provision of an intensive behavioural service.
Qualifications required:
The ideal candidate for the role of Instructor Therapist is energetic and reliable with a commitment to individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and can demonstrate a keen ability to be a supportive team member, to learn quickly and follow clinical direction.
Requirements to be considered for the role:
•University degree or (2-year) Community College program in social services, psychology or early childhood education
•Have a good understanding of early childhood education, child development and Autism
•Minimum of 6 months previous experience working with children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder
•Successfully complete mandatory provincial training.
Starting Salary: $43,897
