Benefiting Geneva Centre for Autism
On behalf of the staff, volunteers, and clients we serve at Geneva Centre for Autism, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for supporting this year’s Butterfly Classic Golf Tournament. This year marked several exciting milestones; the 15th Annual Butterfly Classic, Geneva Centre for Autism’s 40th anniversary, and the Butterfly Classic Golf Tournament passed the $1 million mark for total funds raised! THANK YOU!
Over 100 golfers and supporters came out to the Angus Glen Golf Club on September 23rd to enjoy delicious food, gorgeous weather, a great game of golf, and a chance to catch up with new and old friends, all while raising money for a great cause. We’re thrilled to announce that we raised over $78,000 this year.
Your support helped raise significant funds to provide the vital programs and services we deliver. By supporting our tournament, you have helped the Centre’s staff and volunteers:
- Invest more in social skills training to help individuals build self-esteem, and improve academic performance and employment outcomes.
- Strengthen families by providing more respite hours.
- Provide training and support to teachers across Ontario to create more inclusive classrooms.
- Launch new employment training programs like our Monarch Café for young adults.
We would like to extend a special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, BMO Financial Group. Their continued support for over a decade has helped us make the Butterfly Classic one of our largest fundraisers.
We would also like to give a warm thank you to our sponsors: Real Matters, Verdiroc, NACDA, Lincoln Paving and G & A Corporate.
On behalf of the 100,000 Ontarians living with autism, thank you again for your support and for helping to make these vital programs possible. We’re confident that the funds raised from the 15th Annual Butterfly Classic will allow us to see exciting progress in the year to come.
Stay tuned for details about the 2015 Butterfly Classic!
