The facilitator will help to determine whether or not these services are the right fit for you. In addition, the facilitator will try to link you with alternative services in Toronto as appropriate.
What happens when I turn 30 years old?
As a transitional support program for young adults, the Steps For Success Program is able to provide support to its program participants until they reach 30 years of age. Before anyone leaves the program, however, the staff from Geneva Centre for Autism always ensure that the individual or family is linked to alternative programs and supports in the community as necessary. In addition, the staff will provide person-centred planning supports to individuals/families who would like to make long-term plans for the future. Through person planning, individuals/families are provided with information about various issues including estate planning, powers of attorney, independent living, financial planning, etc.
