On July 19, 2010, the Brentwood Towers Tenant’s Association and the employees of O'Shanter Development Company Ltd. turned out in force to support and raise funds for children and young people with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Keeping with the Company’s tagline, “Managing to do the right thing”, the Company organized a BBQ fundraiser benefiting Geneva Centre for Autism. Spearheaded by O'Shanter Development’s General Manager, Randy Daiter, the event raised a total of $1600. The funds raised go towards helping low income families access non-government funded services and also help fund Canada’s first youth and adult centre for individuals with an autism spectrum disorder.
Geneva Centre for Autism Foundation would like to thank the tenant’s association and everyone at O'Shanter Development Company, especially Mr. Randy Daiter, who contributed to make this fun community event such a a success. Thank you!
