| Transition planning is an important process for students with ASD. Change, including transitions between activities and environments, may lead to increased anxiety and challenging behaviour. This workshop will examine strategies to support daily transitions as well as significant transitions such as entry to school and transitions to high school from the elementary setting. This full day workshop will focus on a collaborative approach to effective transition planning and incorporate relevant ABA methods, where appropriate. |
