This workshop is designed to help the participant understand how to approach a family with concerns regarding their child’s development. Information pertaining to the benefits of early identification and early intervention will also be discussed. Discussion will also focus on the unique grieving process experienced by families, the stresses they experience, and will include a constructive view of coping mechanisms. Strategies on how to foster parental involvement, supporting families throughout service delivery will be discussed. |
