Outline of Presentation

Temple Grandin was one of the first individuals with an ASD to describe the sensory sensitivities that are now widely recognized in individuals with an ASD.  In this session Temple will describe her early experiences with hyper and hypo sensitivity, specifically related to her  hearing and touch sensitivity, She will describe what she has learned about managing these sensitivities, the impact on the central nervous system and how she copes as adult.
