Georges HuardGeorges Huard is a 49 year old person with Asperger's Syndrome.  Georges grew up in a family raised by a single mom, and has two brothers, and one sister. One of his brothers, Antoine has Kanner autism. Currently Georges works as a Computer Tech at Université du Québec à Montréal.

In grade school, science class was where he excelled. Through high school, computer science was a liberation as he mastered the BASIC language.  What motivated Georges in learning computer science, was a special interest in timepieces of all kinds (Watches, chronographs, and timers). The use of computers to compute days between dates motivated him in learning programming techniques.  Georges went on to complete college, and graduated,

Georges helped a friend with autism, in the annual Swim for Hope fund raiser in New York, earning him the Benn Kramer award in 2006.  He also earned the Peter Zwack prize in 2006 for his involvement in the Autism cause. This includes giving talks, and counseling parents and people with Asperger's Syndrome.  Georges skills in public speaking, has earned him many invitations to speak at conferences, in schools, and universities in Canada, France, and Spain.
