Dr. Bryan Jepson is board certified in emergency medicine but started treating children on the autism spectrum in 2002, not long after his own son was diagnosed. He is the director of medical services at Thoughtful House Center for Children, a multidisciplinary treatment and research facility in Austin, Texas dedicated to children with autism and other spectrum disorders.
He is the author of the book “Changing the Course of Autism” that was published in the summer of 2007. The book is a review of the medical literature regarding autism and how it fits into a model of an environmentally-induced metabolic disease with multiple organ system involvement.
