In order to be eligible for these services, candidates must:
  • Complete an eligibility assessment
  • Be between the ages of 18 – 30 years old
  • Live in Toronto
  • Have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder
How do I apply for any of these services?
Anyone who would like to apply for the group services and/or one-to-one supports available through the Choices for Adult Living Program can contact the Intake Worker for Adult Services at (416) 322 -7877 ext. 242. The Intake Worker will help to determine whether or not these services are the right fit for you. In addition, the Intake Worker will try to link you with alternative services in Toronto as appropriate.

What happens when I turn 30 years old?
As a transitional support program for young adults, the Choices for Adult Living Program is able to provide support to its program participants until they reach 30 years of age. Before anyone leaves the program, however, the staff from Geneva Centre for Autism always ensure that the individual or family is linked to alternative programs and supports in the community as necessary. In addition, the staff will provide person-centred planning supports to individuals/families who would like to make long-term plans for the future. Through person-centred planning, individuals/families are provided with information about various issues including estate planning, powers of attorney, independent living, financial planning, etc.
