Toilet TrainingDo you want to know whether you and your child are ready to begin toilet training? Do you want to know how to start and succeed at toilet training? Have you begun toilet training but are experiencing some difficulties?

This session examines the issue of toilet training for children with ASD. Learn how to recognize the signs that your child is ready for toilet training. Learn how to set up a toilet training routine and keep track of your child’s progress. Strategies, based on Applied Behaviour Analysis, to improve your child’s toileting skills are reviewed. These include modeling, prompting, shaping, reinforcement, visual cues, and scripting. Opportunity to discuss specific toileting difficulties is provided.

This workshop is only open to clinical clients of the Geneva Centre for Autism who live in GTA.
