Dr. Kathleen A. Quill is a key contributor to the development of AutismPro and is the Director of AutismPro’s Board of Professional Advisors. Kathleen is an internationally respected expert on the educational needs of children with autism. She has authored numerous publications, including two bestsellers: Teaching children with autism: Strategies to enhance communication and socialization (published in 1995), and DO-WATCH-LISTEN-SAY: Social and communication intervention for children with autism (published in 2000.) Dr. Quill is also the Director of the Autism Institute, based in Massachusetts. The institute provides consultation, professional development, and training to educators. She lectures internationally to share her insights about the educational needs of children with autism. Educated at Johns Hopkins University and Boston University, Kathleen received her doctorate in Applied Psycholinguistics and has conducted applied research on language, communication and social development in autism. She has taught at the University of Massachusetts, Lesley College, and Emerson College in Boston.
