Summer Training 2008 follow up
This year, Geneva Centre for Autism is pleased to present a five-day Summer Training Institute related to the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and a comprehensive planning process. While much of this year’s program will focus on the classroom, all of the assessment tools, teaching strategies and implementation plans are applicable to home and community settings. Techniques discussed are effective for individuals of all ages and across the Autism Spectrum including those with Asperger Syndrome.

Who can attend?
Teachers, school boards’ administrators, parents/caregivers, psychologists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, resource teachers, instructor therapists, other direct service providers, and individuals interested in enahncing their knowledge and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Where is it held?
The training will be delivered locally in 6 sites across Ontario. A portion of the content will be delivered in person by Geneva Centre for Autism Training Faculty. Guest speakers’ presentations will be transmitted by video conference from Toronto to each site. On-site facilitators will assist with group practice activities.
