The spirit of summer shines through at Geneva Centre for Autism’s Annual Family Picnic PDF Print

The grey clouds and rain showers were no match for Geneva Centre for Autism staff, families and clients as they gathered for the centre’s annual Family Picnic on Wednesday, June 18.

Held each year in June Rowlands Park, near our Merton Street headquarters, this popular event draws hundreds of people of all ages for a barbecue supper, raffle, face painting, carnival rides and games. Special guests included the Toronto Mounted Police and Canine Unit, RBC’s Leo the Lion and Duke the Dog of the Toronto Marlies.

This unique event, supported by RBC volunteers, gives Geneva Centre families and the local community an opportunity to relax together for an afternoon of family fun and entertainment, even when the weather isn’t so hospitable!
