This training program is available to resource teachers/home visitors who work with licensed child care centres and home-based child care. The program includes on-site training, e-learning, and mentorship and coaching.

Core Curriculum
The core curriculum is a two day training session called "From Survival to Success: Practical Classroom Strategies”. This curriculum is being offered to every resource teacher in Ontario. After completing the 2-day training, every participant will receive a resource kit including sample visual supports, tip sheets, fidget toys, and a gift certificate for a book.
The Centre also offers a series of electives to all participants in the training. Participants will have an opportunity to choose what elective they want to take. Please click on the announcement of the next phases of the project for details on how to access the electives.
Mentorship and Coaching
Mentorship and coaching will be provided to resource teachers/home visitors who participated in the training to assist them to address issues related to children with ASD as they arise.
The E-Learning
The Centre’s E-Learning website will also provide online access to continuing education on practical classroom strategies and opportunities for discussion forums.
