Behaviour / Communication Consultation
This service offers consultation and parent training to assist families
in better understanding the functions of behaviour. Intervention
strategies to teach new desired behaviours while reducing undesirable
ones are introduced through consultation either at a family’s home, or
at Geneva Centre for Autism.
Day Support Programs for Adults
This service offers adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder the opportunity to develop social skills, engage in recreational activities in a group setting. Demonstrating self-regulation skills, following established routines and community participation are key outcomes of this service.
Counselling
Counselling is available on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis to support individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, and / or their families. The need for counseling will be determined in collaboration with a member of Options Services.
