9-12 year old siblings

Does your child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder have a brother or sister aged 9-12? Could this sibling benefit from learning more about Autism Spectrum Disorders? Would they enjoy an opportunity to share their feelings and experiences with other siblings? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, this may be the workshop for your child.

This support group provides a unique opportunity for siblings of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to meet other siblings, share their experiences and learn more about ASD. This workshop uses videos, books, interactive activities and personal experiences to facilitate discussion in a fun and supportive environment.

***Please note: This workshop has been designed to include
participation from both siblings and parent/guardians. The
first 4 sessions are offered for siblings, and the final (fifth)
session is to be attended by the sibling’s parent/guardian
only. Parent/guardian attendance in the final (fifth) session
is highly recommended.
