Pathways of Extended Learning: This six month vocational training program for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder will provide students with a blended training experience in a working Café, combined with classroom instruction. Upon graduation, students will receive support in acquiring and maintaining employment.
Adult Group Service: These member-driven groups allow adults with ASD to socialize with peers, access social support and engage in leisure activities.
Movie Night: 8 times each year, the Centre hosts a private showing of a recent feature film for individuals with Asperger Syndrome and their families and friends.
Funded Pathways Under Umbrella: The Pathways Program provides goal-oriented supports to individuals in the areas of: vocational, pre-vocational, volunteer or post-secondary in their identified Pathway (goal).
Respite: Temporary relief for parents and guardians from the physical and emotional demands involved in caring for a family member with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Consultation Services: The Training Institute’s Consultation Services are fee-based services designed for parents/caregivers to provide them with alternative options to access appropriate and individualized intervention and support without being on a waitlist.
Financial Assistance: Support provided to explore and access various sources of funding.
Person-Directed Planning: Person-directed planning helps a person with a developmental disability to find the tools and funding they need to live their dreams and meet their goals. Person Directed Planning is a service that is offered through Developmental Services Ontario.
