Trailblazers Track and Field Championships is Toronto’s only track and field competition for children and youth with autism!
Hosted by Geneva Centre for Autism and organized by a volunteer committee passionate about the possibilities for children with autism, the Trailblazers Track & Field Championships is a unique opportunity for kids on the autism spectrum to enjoy the thrill of sports competition and healthy physical activity in a fun, autism-friendly environment. This event is open to all children and youth with an ASD aged 5-18.
Participants can register for up to three events including:
100m dash
200m dash
400m dash
Football throw
Long Jump
In addition to these events there will be a family and volunteer 4x100m relay where siblings, parents, and friends can participate.
Registration is $30. No one will be excluded from this event; if you cannot make the payment, just let us know.
This event is held rain or shine. Please bring lots of water and sunscreen.
A parent or guardian must stay with the child for the duration of the event. Additional friends and family members are welcome to come cheer on the athletes.
